1. To make the crust, combine sugar, flour, oatmeal, baking powder and pulse 10 times in a food processor.
2. Add butter and miso and pulse until flaky (about 20-30 seconds).
3. Add hot water and pulse another 10 times and store the dough in a cool place.
4. For the filling, combine apples, brown sugar, raisin and cornstarch in a separate mixing bowl.
5. In an over-proof baking dish, transfer the apples and top with crust. Bake at 375°F for 20-30 minutes until crust is nicely brown.
